Careers Across the Curriculum

We strive to embed Careers within our curriculum rather than seeing it as an add on. To achieve this, Curriculum areas plan explicitly to engage students in thinking about how their subject can lead into the world of work.

Some examples of this include but are not limited to:

  • Sharing links to real-life careers
  • Sharing labour market information
  • Providing opportunities to visit Higher and Further Education settings
  • Organising trips to places of work within their industry
  • Inviting guest speakers
  • Extra-curricular clubs such as MakerSpace and STEM club

Teachers

If you are a teacher looking for more information, you can find our careers program and resources

on our shared All Staff > Files > Careers > Teachers on Microsoft Teams or through Simon Lewis. If you are looking

to plan a lesson around careers, please check out ‘Useful Links’ below for Labour Market Information.
