Students' Login Details
Usernames & Email Addresses
All students have their own username/email address used for the main IT Systems in school. They will have been given this during their first IT Lesson at Neston High School. Student email addresses take the form of “username@ed.nestonhigh.com” (e.g. 18thingwallt@ed.nestonhigh.com)
This email address is used for the following systems:
- To login to the school computer on site
- To login to a laptop loaned from the school
- To login to their email account
- To login to Microsoft Team
- To login to Microsoft Office Apps (Word, Excel, etc)
Passwords
The password associated with a students email address is chosen by them during their first IT lesson, and can be changed at any point by the student if they know the password.
If they have forgotten the password, and Teacher can help with this and reset the password. Parents can also request a password reset using the below form.
Important Note: Once you submit a password reset, and it is processed, this will lock the student out of their account until a new password is chosen (using the new temporary password that will be sent to you).
Sometimes students don't remember that the password they use on the school computers is the same synchronized password for accessing Microsoft Teams at home. Please remind them that if they change their password in School this will change it at home for Microsoft Teams and vice versa.
If you are prompted for a username or password to access the PASSWORD RESET FORM, please use the username 'parent' and password 'neston'
