KS4 & KS5 Trip to Cologne

Our KS4 & KS5 trip to Cologne, Germany was a huge success. We spent the first day exploring the city with our guides and loved the panoramic view of the city from the Köln triangle. We then enjoyed our visit to the chocolate museum with the students particularly enjoying the free samples! Our second day was full of trips including the world famous Cologne Cathedral, the tourist city of Koblenz on the River Rhein and the 13th Century Rheinfels castle.  It was great to see all the students getting on so well with many of them practicing their German. We spent our last day in Wuppertal where students travelled on the Schwebebahn, the world famous hanging monorail and had some time shopping for souvenirs. The students from Neston were fantastic and were a credit to the school. Thank you to all parents and carers involved who helped in making this visit so successful.
