Staff Recognition Scheme
Neston High School has a staff recognition scheme as a way of formally commending and acknowledging the work of staff who go above and beyond in their work. As you know, we pride ourselves in having a team of highly trained, dedicated, staff committed to working hard to achieve the best outcomes for our students. The scheme has been a great success and many staff; both teachers and staff other than teachers have been nominated and recognised through the scheme. The staff receive a letter from the Headteacher and Deputy Head teacher and this is also shared with Trustees.
It is always a pleasure when parents write in to individual staff or to Ms K Cunningham to thank staff for their contribution or hard work with students. We value greatly our partnership with parents and working together to achieve the best for our students. Due to the success of the recognition scheme within school, we have now decided to extend this to include parents so that you have the opportunity to nominate staff and thank them formally. Use the button at the bottom of this page.
What qualifies for a recognition reward?
Staff recognition rewards are linked to our key values at Neston in relation to the types of achievement and/or behaviours we would wish to recognise and encourage. Employees or teams may qualify for a recognition reward if one or more of the following criteria are met:
Being Inspiring
“Inspiring others to be the best they can be, whilst themselves being forward thinking, enterprising and engaged in their day to day activities. Set and meet high standards, aspiring to achieve the best for themselves and the School.
Leadership
“Embracing creativity by taking bold decisions that enable the school to develop. Challenging existing methods and processes; devising and implementing successful improvements and enhancements of these”.
Professionalism
“Provide an exceptionally high level of professional service to all those we work with, by having the highest standard of professional ethics. Consistent commitment to outstanding performance, enriching the student experience either directly or indirectly”.
Responsiveness
“Foster an open culture in which people are approachable, friendly and willing to share ideas; Readily reacting to suggestions, influences or efforts. Also, being committed, engaged and innovative in the delivery of professional excellence to students and to own colleagues”.
The above criteria should be considered in relation to a requirement for them to be beyond normal expectations within their assigned role in school. If parents would like to nominate a member of staff, please complete the form linked below.
