Education at Neston High School is founded on the core values of aspiration, community and kindness, with the belief that all young people have the right to an exceptional education, both within the classroom and beyond. At Neston, we believe in comprehensive education as the very best way to educate children; and a school like Neston, embedded in the heart of the community, is one of the best examples of a school, where children from a range of backgrounds, and with varying abilities, can be confident in the belief they can be themselves and achieve their very best.   

At Neston, we place our students at the heart of all that we do and our expert understanding imbues us with the ability to ensure all of our young people will reach their true potential. Our students achieve excellent outcomes; they are the creative thinkers and problem-solvers of the future. They leave Neston as fine young adults with the world at their feet.   

We all recognise that the world is uncertain; it is rapidly changing, and education needs to anticipate and evolve if we are to prepare our students properly to enter a world full of new possibilities. At Neston, we are a forward-thinking school, underpinned by excellent teaching.  We will nurture your child so he or she develops the attributes, intellect and self-confidence to seize every opportunity and to take-on every challenge.  

We achieve strong examination results, but these are no longer enough to guarantee success.  Your child must be ready to build a career in roles that do not yet exist; to work with technology that has yet to be invented. Our young people will need to be agile, to communicate effectively, work independently, demonstrate empathy, question deeply and to have the ability to think creatively to find solutions.  

I am incredibly proud to be the Headteacher of this incredible school of over 1750 students from the age of 11-18. They grow up free in a safe, supportive and joyful community where we truly value and celebrate every individual.
