HRH Prince Edward Officially Opens Neston High School

On Monday, 19th November, Neston High School was officially opened by HRH, Prince Edward.

A very exciting day was had by all last week, when Neston was visited by Prince Edward and his entourage. The Prince was greeted by our year seven students lining the walkway and waving Union Flags as he made his grand entrance. He met over half the students in the school and was able to meet students involved in the Duke of Edinburgh Award, the 'prisoner of war' project; work on the Commonwealth and the 'Sixth form 'Mental Health' team, as well as listening to the band perform.

At the end of his tour, he arrived in Bushell Hall and officially unveiled the plaque, opening the school.
